IMPORTANT NOTICE

Proposed procedure for tomorrow.

ALL SCORECARDS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED ON TROLS AND EMAILED AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE MATCH.

Hi All, Given the possible inclement weather hitting Melbourne tomorrow which may impact Grand Finals, please refer to the follow procedure:

1. The condition of ALL Grand Finals Venues are to be assessed as early as possible, prior to the commencement of play.

2. Courts/ Venues that have unplayable conditions should be reported to the NEJTA Hotline. If your courts are affected by rain, please call the NEJTA Hotline on 0408 587 380. You will receive further instructions. Please be patient if you cannot reach anyone. PLEASE DO NOT TEXT MESSAGE TO THAT NUMBER.

3. Players & Parents should prepare for delays in start times and / or relocation of matches to more suitable venues. If the inclement weather appears to have only affected certain areas of Melbourne and not others, the matches may be relocated to another venue.

4. The NEJTA Washout Notification will not be in use. Players must turn up to the venue of the grand final. Washouts are not to be called by Clubs. Washouts are to be called by the NEJTA on the TROLS Noticeboard.

ALL singles matches are to commence at 8:00am unless prior approval has been granted by the NEJTA to commence at 10:00am.

6. ALL Doubles matches are to commence at 10:00am.

7. Every attempt should be made to mop up courts if play can resume.

8. Matches may be played until there is an indisputable result.
